Harmonographs are essentially a visual representation of music created by following a set of mathematical rules. The were particularly popular during the Victorian era were they were used as party tricks and novelties. Here is a image of one:
Despite what the name suggests this blog will not focus on harmonographs but rather math and music and how they relate. Will focus on topic such as The Group Theory of Music, Quantum Cryptography, Debussy’s Harmony, etc. well attempting to remain at beginner level.
